Getting Rosemary road-trip ready

Buying a 15-year-old car and expecting it to effortlessly cope with the rigours of around 4,500 miles and four middle-aged men made it seem wise to check she was up to it.
A check brought up some issues, such as the suspension. I refer you back to the mention of four middle-aged men, now throw in some Eastern European roads and we needed to sort this out.
It wasn’t easy. Jase nearly suffered a harrowing injury, Craig nearly lost faith, Ian decided to move house and Jim nearly had to turn up*.
Thankfully, we had expert help. Except for a few fun bangs in the back (no, you’ve got a dirty mind), Rosemary’s ready to go!
*He did turn up and was a big help, but let’s not ruin the narrative.
